On the login page you often find a link that says "Forgot password?", "Reset password" or "Need help?". Click on it.

The link is usually below the field where you type password.

Why are passwords important?

Your password is like the key to your house - it keeps strangers out. A bad password makes it easy for scammers to steal your money or identity.

How to create a good password

  • Use at least 12 characters - the longer, the better
  • Mix upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols
  • Don't use your name, birth date or "123456"
  • Feel free to use a sentence you remember: "MyCatIsNamedFluffy2!"
  • Use different passwords on important services (bank, NAV, email)

Note: BankID is different

BankID password cannot be reset yourself online. If you've forgotten the BankID code, you must contact your bank to get a new one. They will help you.
