Using Vipps

Open Vipps and press "Get started" or "Register". You'll be asked to enter your mobile number.

You must confirm your identity with BankID. Follow the instructions - you'll be sent to the BankID app to approve.

Vipps automatically retrieves your bank accounts. Select which account you want to use as default for Vipps payments.

You can also add a payment card to use Vipps in stores. Press "Card" and "Add card". Fill in the card information.

To send money: Press the "Search" or "+" button, enter name or number, enter the amount, and press "Send". The recipient also needs Vipps.

In stores that accept Vipps: Open the app, press "Pay", and hold the phone against the payment terminal. Approve with fingerprint or code.

Have you paid for something? Press "Bills" in the app, enter the total amount and select who should split. Vipps automatically sends a request to everyone.
